Meet 2021’s Newest Super Lawyer & Rising Star
We are proud to announce our very own partners Phillip C. Hamilton, Esq. and Lance A. Clarke, Esq. have been recognized by Super Lawyers for 2021. Phillip is named a 2021 Super Lawyers Rising Star and Lance is designated a 2021 Super Lawyer, both of which are significant accomplishments.

Only a handful of attorneys in each state earn the titles that our lawyers have. 5% of lawyers in each state land the Super Lawyers list while merely 2.5% are named to the Rising Stars list. The selection process for both awards is the same, except those who don’t make the Super Lawyers list but meet one of the two criteria below are selected as Rising Stars:
- 40 years old or younger
- In practice for 10 years or less
Super Lawyers utilizes a rigorous selection process that combines peer nominations and evaluations with independent research. After satisfying 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, candidates with the highest point totals evaluate other candidates within their primary practice area. Such indicators include:

- Transactions
- Representative Clients
- Experience
- Honors/awards
- Special licenses/certifications
- Position within the law firm
- Bar and/or professional activity
- Pro bono and community service
- Scholarly lectures/writings
- Education/employment background
- Other outstanding achievements
Lastly, a representative number of small, medium, and large firm attorneys are selected, such as Phillip Hamilton, Esq. and Lance Clarke. It takes a high degree of professional achievement and recognition to be considered for the Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists, and two of our own attorneys prevailed.
